Oh m gee. I am missing my mommy and daddy. Yes, I admit it. Today is halloween. There was an NJHS fun fair. It was awesome and MCV was there! Watch the news! The best part, I think, is when theatre club previewed This Is Halloween and Sally's song.

Well, last night I had the worst stomachache ever. I threw up at 7. Went to bed at 7:30. Woke up at 10 and threw up. Then slept. Then woke up at five and threw up AGAIN. I am at school now, it's lunch and I threw up in the girl's bathroom right before pre-algebra. I'm in the library just in case your wondering. It sucks. I have never been this sick before. I don't want to go home...

Today high school had a cultural exchange with the students of Lino High Schoo in Japan. Our schedule was all messed up. It was so annoying. It was also annoying middle school wasn't included and didn't get a partner, but we did say hi to Japanese students.

AHHH MAN! Report card is tomorrow! I have confidence that I got good grades in all my subjects...except... PRE-ALGEBRA. Oh my gosh I have to face my parents and teacher and NJHS (National Junior Honor Soceity advisors with my grade. Holy cow. What really sucks is during report card I HAVE to help distribute report cards.

You know, I noticed the only places to hang out for kids are the movies. I really don't know where else to go. I wish that there was a really cool place for people to go. Instead of building a Casino. I am sometimes mad I don't have a choice. There could be something fun for all ages that would attract tourists and be really fun for locals. Like a mini theme park. For example an arcade or a mini golf course. I'm sure many people would enjoy it. Saipan definitely needs something like that.

Here's my mom and dad at the Red Cross dinner. I just thought that this was a really nice picture. I am so grateful for my parents and everything they do for me and the rest of the family. I love you Mom and Dad! I appreciate everything you've done.
-Oh, and thanks Jeff for taking that great picture :)
Mount Carmel School Theatre club is going to present Tim Burtons "The Nightmare Before Christmas." I am production assistant and assistant choreographer for the play. I have recently been going to rehearsals and sometimes I even get to direct. This play will be great. I think it will in a few months.
Did MY name get called on the speaker?!...Theatre sports
2 comments Posted by hope leilani <3 at 12:51 AMOk. So, at lunch today I was waiting to get my lunch delivered. It wasn't there so I left the office. As I was walking I heard this. " Hope Gomez please report to the high school office, Hope Gomez please report to the high school office." It was embarrasing. LOL. Everyone thought I was in trouble but it was only my lunch.

Today was theatre sports. A dollar fee. I looked in my pockets for money but I was broke, and I didn't really know about it. So I thought it was regular sports so I stayed in class. I missed a lot, but it got to the point where I was so bored I couldn't take it anymore! I got a dollar and went there the last 10 miutes. Gosh Darnit! It was soooo funny! I should have been there earlier. It was like a Who's Line Is It Anyway game played by the high schoolers!

Me, my mom, and my sister Peyton read The Great Kapok Tree and then make a list of all the things we can do to keep our environment beautiful.
Here's the list
1. Give our plants water to help them grow.
2. Spread the word about the importance of trees.
3. Plant more trees
4. Write on the back side of your paper.
5. Recycle paper. Use old paper for scratch paper.
6. Try to save old trees around new construction.
7. Reuse grocery bags or bring your own.

Ok, so I went to San Vicente this morning to do the Middle School Forensic Leauge. I came unprepared and not knowing where the heck my coach was. 10 minutes before my time to present, I gave up. I had no idea if I was signed in, couldn't bring myself to the room, and didn't have enough time to practice. I waited about 30 minutes for my mom to come pick me up. (I didn't know why she took so long). When she FINALLY picked me up we went shopping for her clothes at Papaya and a store thats called...um...I think Incense. After we went to the Garapan Elementary School cafeeria for about an hour and then came home. So here I am typing about my long day. I am exhausted. Well, thats all can think of to blog about.

Survey: More Americans know Big Mac ingredients than Ten Commandments
0 comments Posted by hope leilani <3 at 11:53 PMDid you know more americans know the big mac ingredients from mcdonalds than the ten commandments??? Did you know that even those who go to church every week had trouble naming all the commandments? They easily named the ingredients in a big mac when asked. Two all beef patties, lettuce, sesame-seed bun, sauce, pickles, and cheese. "You shall not kill" in the ten commandments was known to less than six. "Honor your father and mother" (45 percent). "You shall not kill" (69 percent). " You shall not steal" ( 76-79 percent).

I finished reading "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen. I love it and think it is exciting and adventurous. Hatchet is definitely one of the best books I ever read. It made me really feel how that character felt. The things that happen are so real its like its actually happening to me.
Here is something from the book to tell you more about the story.
ABOUT THE BOOK
"Thirteen-year-old Brian Robeson is on route to spending the summer with his father when the pilot on the single engine plane in which he is flying has a heart attack. The plane crashes in a lake in the Canadian wilderness, leaving Brian alone in the woods with nothing but the clothes on his back and a hatchet his mother had given him. During the fifty four days that Brian lives in the wilderness, he learns to read nature, conquer his fears, rely on his own ingenuity, and deal with the haunting secret that caused his parents' recent divorce. He comes of age in the woods, but in ways he never expected. He is no longer angry at his parents, and he realizes that self pity has no positive effect on his life. He is a survivor, and that is what makes him a man."
